Dot Net Developer With Testing Experience

Our client is a Research/IT firm based in Toronto that provides software, research, and technical services to blue chip clients in the online entertainment space. We work with global partners to provide the highest level of technological support for our customers, and in turn for our customers’ customers. The ideal candidate should be local to the North York area.

As a Developer for the QA Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing testing solution for the company’s software products. You will be involved in the development of robust, scalable automation testing frameworks for functional, regression and performance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing testing solution for the company’s software products.

• Developing scalable automation testing frameworks for functional, regression and performance testing.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail is needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience developing software with C#

• 3+ years’ experience with SQL Server

• Strong unit testing experience

• Extensive experience in design/development of SOA based systems

• Excellent understanding of software design and development using SOLID principles

• Experience with IOC/DI, mocking frameworks, continuous integration process

• Experience with message-oriented middle-ware systems and/or NOSQL – preferred but not mandatory

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver – preferred but not mandatory
