The University of Regina invites applications for the newly established Director, Research, Innovation and Partnerships position. Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Research, the Director will be an advocate for faculty research, commercialization and external engagement to lead the establishment of partnerships and collaborations with public, private and non-profit companies/organizations and institutions.

Successful candidates will have the capacity, interpersonal skills and political acumen to facilitate partnerships that link university, government and industry resources to address technology commercialization and external engagement needs, ensure researchers have broad awareness of opportunities to translate their intellectual property; and promote an entrepreneurial culture throughout the Research Enterprise.A collaborative and persuasive communicator, the new Director will have the ability to facilitate and promote the development of intellectual property, technology transfer and public/private partnerships to benefit the University and society.
