- Leads the development of clinical and workload metrics, indicators and outcome measures and works with care providers to improve performance
- Ensures provision of a safe work environment for all staff

- Develops and promotes strategies for effective and efficient resource utilization
- Oversees the Perioperative Services, Medical Device Reprocessing Department, Inpatient Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Special Care Nursery, Allied Health and Fracture Clinic
- Provides leadership for patient experience, quality, risk and safety within the program areas
- Promotes the development of leadership skills and capabilities within the program areas
- Must currently be a Regulated Healthcare Professional.
- Exceptional analytical and information-seeking skills
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
- Minimum of 4-6 years’ recent leadership experience in an acute hospital setting in is required.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care excellence founded on patient safety and continuous quality improvement
- Master’s degree in related field such as Health or Business Administration is preferred.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of leaders and a track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with physicians
- Strong change management skills and experience.
- Budget development (capital and operating) and variance analysis experience required.
