Job Description
Our client is compliant with all the regulations outlined by the RCDSO & CDHO guidelines and protocols recommended by the Ontario Ministry of Health.


Our client, in Maple is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.


Position/Job Requirements


  • Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
  • Experienced Dental Hygienist


Major Intersection


  • Jane/Major MacKenzie (Free Parking)/ Maple


HOURS: (Ideally prefer 1 RDH but open to take 2 RDH to cover all days)


  • Monday 11-8
  • Saturday 8:30-3 From: (Sept-May)
  • Some Wednesdays 9- 4 or 5
  • Tuesday 10-7
COMPENSATION:


  • TBD Depends on experience and performance
JOB OVERVIEW:


  • Preparation of patients for various dental procedures
  • Digital x-ray system
  • Removal of stains, scaling and root-planing
  • New patient assessment-comprehensive exams
  • Taking impressions of teeth for study models
  • Dental impressions and bleaching trays
  • Zoom whitening
  • Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
  • Pit and fissure sealants
  • Charting patients, updating medical history
  • Oral hygiene instructions to patients
  • Polishing and fluoride treatments
