Job Description
A major food production facility and distributor in Victoria are looking for a full time Delivery Driver to drive a 5 tonne single axel truck around Victoria and up-Island. If you have a Class 3 License you may be additionally required to drive a tandem axel truck.
DELIVERY DRIVER
Opportunity: Full time, permanent position Monday to Saturday ( days off would be Sunday and Tuesday)
Location: Saanichton, BC
Driving radius: Victoria and up-Island
License type: Class 5 drivers
Hours: Day time, shifts times would be 8 to 4:30 and days off would be split. Sunday and or Tuesday/Wednesday depending on the business.
Pay rate: $18-21/hour depending on experience
Start: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • On time delivery of product
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Assistance with unloading of product once at location
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed and organized as required
  • Driving of 5 tonne single or tandem axel truck to scheduled drop off locations
Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and stay productive and results-oriented throughout the shift
  • Experience with a moving company is an asset
  • Excellent customer service and timekeeping skills
  • 2+ years driving experience a single or tandem axel truck
  • Clean Class 3 or Class 5 drivers license
