Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Database Technician Intern (remote) to join the Solarfective Team in Scarborough, ON.

What Will You Do?

Legrand is looking for a Co-ops/Interns to design, modify, and create databases using lighting

plans in our innovative Light Management System.

Main Job Duties

• Convert AutoCAD drawing floorplans into software format, to layer devices and configure
• Design, modify and create lighting database for new projects throughout North America

to specified sequence of operations

• Discuss with technicians and project managers as aides towards meeting customers’

Requirements

• Accompany technician on job site for on-site experience

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active student acquiring a diploma in any Major Engineering Field (Mechanical, Civil or

Electrical)

• Must be able to travel to and from the office
• Basic AutoCAD Experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Related hobby or passion for troubleshooting and learning “how things work”, an asset
• Experience with computers (understanding of basic networking), an asset
