Customer Service / Logistics Coordinator --- Come join the RSB Team!


RSB LOGISTIC is presently seeking a self-motivated, people-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and an eye for detail to compliment the Customer Service / Sales Team in our road transport division. This is a term position with the possibility of becoming permanent.


RSB LOGISTIC is a full-service logistic group using both owned and contracted resources. Services include inland waterways and overseas shipping, road and rail transportation, freight forwarding services, as well as warehousing and storage. RSB is committed to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and every function within the organization has safety and customer satisfaction as its highest priority.


This position will be based out of the Saskatoon office and responsible for:

•Coordinating RSB drivers and equipment to meet customer logistic needs

•Overseeing projects for Key Accounts as assigned

•Identify and coordinate immediate sales requirements with the Operational Projects Supervisor, Planner and Operations Manager

•Identify sales leads, provide rate quotes and resolve customer issues and concerns

•Promote and coordinate communication between Customer Service / Sales and other departments

•Monitor Key Accounts and ensure timely response to their needs

•Identify means of improving ongoing processes

•Maintain regular contact/liaison with customer base and other departments

•Perform daily customer updates as needed including pick-up / delivery verification

•Maintain contact with core customers on a daily / weekly / monthly basis to inquire about immediate and future needs

•Assist with locating loads as needed

•Ensure accuracy of sales orders and changes to sales orders when inputting on the system

•Provide clear communication to Operations on customer needs and requirements

•Maintain customer satisfaction through the effective investigation and resolution of potential and actual service failures

•Prepare incident and non-conformance reports as required with appropriate follow up


Requirements for the position include:

•Self motivated, people-oriented person, persistent, energetic, honest and sincere

•Able to work effectively and contribute within a team environment

•Strong verbal and written communication skills

•Prior customer service and direct customer sales experience is required

•Experience and knowledge of road transportation is required

•Experience in developing marketing strategies and overseeing Key Customer Accounts

•Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment is required

•Experience with TMW and/or CRM software is preferred

•Secondary education in business or related discipline is preferred

•Organized with an attention to detail attribute and timely in completing required paperwork
