We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Credit Analyst position.This position will be a hybrid position – working at both our Fullarton Street office in London as well as from home.

The Credit Analyst plays an important role within the Real Estate Lending Team by providing underwriting support to our experienced origination team. You will also assist with the ongoing account monitoring of commercial real estate loans. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for Commercial Real Estate.

Responsibilities include:

• Stay up-to-date on current events impacting the commercial real estate market throughout Canada.
• Working alongside the origination team in completing credit reviews and/or amendments on a timely basis while ensuring all terms and conditions of the credit agreement have been met and any increased risk identified and addressed.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures.
• Gather and analyze third-party reports including financial statements, appraisals, environmental reports, rent rolls and other credit information.

Qualifications:

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced commercial real estate lending team.
• You are a quick learner with a high level of computer proficiency.
• You are a hard worker, self-motivated and results oriented.
• You have completed an undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, urban land development, real estate, accounting or business administration.
• Experience with an internship or analyst position within commercial real estate capital markets and/or lending at a major financial institution or commercial mortgage brokerage firm.
• You are client-focused, entrepreneurial and have the ability and desire to provide solutions to Bank clients.
