Position Summary 

As the Creative Director, Men’s at OAK+FORT; you will be managing the Vision of the Men’s Line and help pave the strategic roadmap, while partnering with the Visual Merchandising team and supporting the social content team with direction and inspiration. You will also effectively communicate, inspire and educate our cross functional partners on trend direction, fabrics, silhouettes and outfitting. In addition, there will be an emphasis on helping to source fabrications that are aligned with Oak + Fort esthetics and overall vision.

Responsibilities

• The ability to set clear objectives and inspire cross functional teams to understand the vision you are setting out for the Men’s line
• A deep understanding of the Oak+Fort esthetic by wearing and setting an example of who we are as a brand
• The dedication to quality and investing in results that add value to business needs and growth
• Conduct fabric and market research
• Product development & management: Design ideation, technical drawings, fittings, colour palette creation, fabric selection etc
• Providing Content ideas and direction for marketing strategies in conjunction with cross functional team members
• Establish and develop the Men’s Line Roadmap and Vision
• Curate a world class product assortment that meets our customers' needs
• Working closely with buying to manage the core business
• The drive to take on new challenges with the self-motivation for continuous personal development
• Competitor research and market analysis (online & IRL).
• Always identifying and evaluating new business opportunities with the men’s lin
• Work with the appropriate Cross functional partners to lead the day-to-day function of the Men’s line to support our strategic direction
