Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Computer Technician to join our technical team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about emerging technologies, we'd love to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities:

• Bi-annual maintenance of computers, servers, networks, and printers
• Accurate documentation of client systems, passwords, and related information
• IT consulting, providing concise recommendations for project execution and upgrades
• Repairs including computer, server, ATM, debit machine, mobile device repairs, and operating system issues
• Customer service, including device sign-in and occasional phone support
• Remote and onsite IT support
• Installation of hardware and software on devices (encryption, drivers, server upgrades, etc.)
• Building new systems, such as custom computers, servers, networks, and network cabling

Criteria:

• Friendly demeanor and proven credibility
• Excellent stress management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Work in a on-call rotation for evenings and weekends (after hours debit machine calls are paid at $35 / hour when dispatched)
• A satisfactory criminal record check is required
• Relevant industry experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Passion for cutting-edge technology
• Flexibility to work after hours evenings, or weekends for infrastructure related jobs (sufficient notice provided) to prevent customer downtime during regular hours.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Computer repair: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• IT Certification (preferred)
