Commercial Service Plumber Jobs

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Service Plumber in the Greater Richmond Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and must be able to handle service calls, repairs, and installations on a variety of plumbing systems in commercial settings. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete service reports and other documentation as required.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
• Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and related equipment as needed.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on company service vehicle.
• Diagnose plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and equipment malfunctions, and provide effective solutions.
• Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Participates in an on call rotation.
• Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and service requests.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various settings, including confined spaces, at heights, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Proven experience as a Plumber, with a strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
