Collections Specialist Jobs

We are hiring a Collections Specialist to join our team in Regina. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and highly organized, has superior computer, proofreading and time management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, professional team environment, providing excellent customer service for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Making outbound collection calls in an efficient and professional manner while remaining composed when dealing with a diverse group of people and situations
• Performing complex editing and formatting for correspondence and documents
• Concentrating and paying close attention to detail when evaluating legal matters
• Following instructions from a diverse group of clients, lawyers and staff
• Maintaining an efficient electronic file system, with strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Organizing and prioritizing numerous tasks and completing them under time constraints

Qualifications include:

• Software program knowledge or certification in: FCT Default Solutions/Collect Link, Collection Highway, Techcom, Aderant, MS Planner, MS Word, Excel and document software management are an asset
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
• Ability to follow instructions from a diverse group of clients, lawyers, and staff
• Two to three years of experience preferred in the collections practice area
• Strong communicator with problem-solving and analytical skills
