The Role
CPC Pumps International Inc. is a part of the Atlas Copco Group, a world-leading industrial group present in more than 180 countries, over the span of approximately 150 years. It is a company that serves customers with innovative compressor, vacuum, power, and industrial technologies. CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.
CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of CNC Supervisor (Afternoon Shift).
Afternoon shift hours (approximately): Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 12 am and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm
Purpose
Handle all aspects of manufacturing processes in accordance with company objectives and operating budgets to satisfy safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Facilitate afternoon shift CNC employees as needed
• Follow all safety policies and guidelines
• Thorough understanding of CPC parts and manufacturing processes
• Support and monitor the transition of the program from PC to CNC machine
• As the role evolves it will be necessary to effectively create programs using current CAM software and proven processes where applicable
• Understand each CNC Machine Tool, capacity, and tooling
• Communicate and work with CNC and Production Management teams to determine priority of jobs required
• Discover opportunities to develop, optimize, simplify, automate, and standardize work processes
• Procure tooling as necessary

What we expect of you?
Qualification Requirements

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other documents
• Demonstrated experience with collaborative problem solving with a continuous improvement mentality
• Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines as required
• Proficient in MS Office (word and excel), Mastercam and SolidWorks
• Direct employee coaching, performance management, and talent development skills
• Solid math skills, understanding of geometry and trigonometry
• Proficient in time management and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be safety and environmentally focused
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Education And/or Experience

• Minimum 10 years of CNC machining, programming, and supervisory experience
• Fanuc controls and multiple axis CNC machines experience is required
• A high school diploma and/or CNC training qualification

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move objects
• Comfortably able to perform repetitive motions using finger, wrist, and shoulders
• Ability to remain standing for long hours

Work Environment

• Ability to work in a high noise area
• Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots as required
• Ability to work around moving conveyors, forklifts, machines, and equipment
