Responsibilities

• Prep and marinate the necessary ingredients along the team
• Assist in the prep of the kitchen plan
• Must have previous chef/assistant chef experience
• Help in creation of recipes
• Work with the team to ensure the best quality of meals are produced
• Communicate with other teams to ensure the necessary supplies are in the kitchen
• Setup work stations with all the necessary ingredients and the cooking equipment
• Maintain record of food costs, consumption and inventory
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment
• Ensure the presentation is great by garnishing and dressing the dishes

Requirements

• Valid G Drivers license is an asset
• Proven experience as cook +1 year
• Excellent physical stamina
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures
• Ability to work in team
• Excellent knowledge of culinary skills
