Job Description
We are looking for server assistant staff with the right attitude of always putting the guest experience first, and great work ethics. Experience is preferred. Ideally you should be a quick learner, very professional in attire and speech, adaptable, able to multi-task, have excellent communication skills, and make quick decisions and prioritize in a very fast paced environment. You should thrive where there is a high demand for you to perform and genuinely enjoy teamwork. Open availability, full time preferred and weekend availability is essential.


Miku is an award-winning Japanese restaurant, located in Coal Harbour, downtown Vancouver. Miku is known for its distinct Aburi-style cuisine, breathtaking views and energetic dining experience. We are looking for enthusiastic, professional individuals to join the team. As part of the front of house team, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications


  • Valid and current visa to work in hospitality. (Minimum 9 months left on visa)
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Positive attitude, professional and formal demeanour.
  • Open availability (part-time and full-time positions available, weekend availability is required).
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a casual fine dining restaurant or similar setting
  • Interest in Japanese culture and cuisine beneficial.
