You enjoy working with people, and possess a driving need to get your tasks done well, the first time. As a hard-working, self-sufficient, and dependable employee, you’re excited to take on this role that includes accountability for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the Capital News Centre facility, which includes two NHL sized ice surfaces, 2 playing fields, Mission Fitness and Boomer’s Bar & Grill.

This is your opportunity to use your good judgement, great work ethic and mechanical aptitude to keep the Capital News Centre running at peak efficiency and cleanliness. You will be working alongside an amazing team, have access to great perks such as restaurant and gym discounts, as well as company paid dental, health, and life insurance. With your valid BC Driver’s License, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to drive the Zamboni.

Ideally, you have a valid BC Driver’s License, along with a high school diploma, and for bonus points, you have experience in a custodial or other cleaning or maintenance job and a knack for fixing things. This is a full-time role that may require shift work however we can work with you to identify a schedule that works for you.
