Behaviour Aide / Tutor Jobs

Behaviourlytics provides learning services utilising the science of behaviour via a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Programs for skills development and reduction of behaviour concerns are developed for each individual client to enhance the autonomy and quality of life for each individual, and others who support them.

Under the supervision of a BCBA and/or Associate, the Behaviour Aide (tutor) will perform tasks and implement learning procedures and collect data to meet goals, and objectives as indicated by each program.
Consistently communicating with BCBA, Associate, and home team the tutor will Provide behaviour intervention in-home or in the community with clients and their families.
It is the responsibility of the tutor to work with caregivers, and/or staff, to put in place strategies within the plan to achieve desired outcomes. The Associate will assist in program development, preparation of teaching materials, implementing the programming, and monitoring the client’s progress.
Hours are flexible, with evenings and weekend availability an essential.
Candidate will require
Police clearance with vulnerable persons check,
Current first aid/CPR
Experience working with challenging behaviour and populations requiring specialised services
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management, organisational and interpersonal skills
Associates will require experience and degree specific to behaviour analysis.
Education
For Tutors a minimum of High School Diplomma and 18 years of age (essential)
Bachelors Degree or currently enrolled in a University program related to Behavioural Science, Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Health Sciences, Education or Early Childhood Development (preferred).
Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis would be an asset but not essential for the Tutor role.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated to teach and learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis.
For Associates a minimum of Bachelors degree and current studies in Behaviour Analysis with experience working with individuals to support their learning.
Successful Candidates will be subcontracted for their service and provided with access to training in ABA with potential of career development.
Training for Behavior Analysis Certification Board as Registered Behaviour Technician, Associate or Full Certification is available.
