Autoport Limited is seeking an Automotive Safety Officer to join our team!

The Automotive Safety Officer is responsible for representing the office of the Director of Automotive when interacting with internal employees as well as Federal and Provincial regulators. The Safety Officer provides daily H&S coaching and guidance to the Automotive Facility Operating teams and implements programs to improve H&S compliance and performance. Moreover, the Field H&S Specialist serves as an H&S resource and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Operations functions.

The Safety Officer will produce a variety of safety performance data, examine existing processes. Direct interface with Automotive Terminal Managers will be a significant portion of the position. The Safety Officer will provide guidance with respect to accident and incident reporting and be responsible for reporting accuracy and integrity.

The Safety Officer will provide guidance using behavioural leadership principles to continue the journey of safety culture change and improvement.
