Assistant Store Manager Jobs

The assistant store manager provides leadership /management of the sales team and isresponsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, making sure it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Store expenses
• Training, and supervising sales team
• Motivating sales teams to achieve a common goal/sales targets
• Monitors sales targets
• Managing Inventory
• Opening and closing the store and making Bank deposits
• Creating work schedule with Manager
• Managing Store Events
• Ensures that the merchandising and store standards are in line with the company guidelines

Qualifications and characteristics

You have:

• Necessary computer skills, including Excel, spreadsheets, customer databases
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail
• Proven track record of successfully managing both client and team relationships
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a successful history of training employees and guiding them to success
• Superior verbal and written communication skills

• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Passionate about product and customer service
• Adept at learning new systems (Shopify, WhatsApp etc.)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi- task, especially at peak selling/shipping times

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail management: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

• Night Shift (preferred)
