Your Role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance & Customer Success, you will manage operational financial reporting, budgeting, and planning processes in all key business functions and play a leading role in ensuring the company meets its short and long-term targets.

It is important to note that this position requires you to be on-site at our Mississauga office.

Scope of duties

• Assist in the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
• Take a hands-on role in leading the financial reporting process including preparing consolidated financial statements, monthly management reports, and analysis to guide decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local law, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations.
• Manage year-end external audits and be the main point of contact.
• Prepare accounting records and documentation, including bank and credit card reconciliations, inter-company accounts, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and HST filings.
• Manage accounting controls and tools (e.g. QuickBooks Online, Ceridian, Float) and identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.

What you offer

• Experience with full-cycle accounting
• Experience in SaaS or a high-growth tech company is preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience as a senior accountant or other related field.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with internal business partners and department leads.
