As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for analyzing samples from various sources according to our established procedures.


What You’ll Do


  • Interpret and report analysis results in accordance with applicable procedures while adhering to strict guidelines of documentation and reporting
  • Document and verify all relevant information such as packaging needs, additional requirements, supplier information, and special handling conditions
  • Conduct experiments to achieve satisfactory characterization of products while also ensuring effective usage of resources
  • Appropriately dispose of waste solvents and maintain compliance with all health and safety standards
  • Order chemicals and laboratory supplies as required


Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge with Gas chromatography, MS, Liquid Chromatography or Inductively Coupled Plasma
  • Solid knowledge and experience using analytical techniques and instrumentation
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in synthetic organic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry or similar technical program with an emphasis on analytical chemistry
  • May be required to work weekends
  • Good theoretical and practical knowledge of NMR and MS and analytical methodology and separation techniques
