Job Description

Adecco is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanics for a full-time, permanent position at a leading Canadian specialty aerospace and defence company in Abbotsford, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhauls in accordance with industry standards, while ensuring meticulous completion of associated documentation.


  • C130 Experience is considered an asset.
  • Access endorsement training and development opportunities provided by an approved training organization (ATO).
  • Perform repairs, modifications, and inspection tasks on customer aircraft.

  • Demonstrate specific knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft or systems and components in the Mechanics, Structures, or Avionics trade.
  • Possess a valid certificate or license in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, approved by the applicable governing body or TCA.
  • Exhibit basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Participate in company-wide social events and family functions throughout the year.
  • Relocation Package available for eligible candidates. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • ATO (approved training organization) provides endorsement training & development
  • Carry out any other duties as required. Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, and reporting.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adhere to the company's policies and procedures, reflecting its culture, values, respectful workplace principles, health and safety regulations, attendance requirements, and security protocols.

  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians, fostering efficient and accurate work performance and supporting their skill development in the trade.
  • Comply with the customer's check package, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), maintenance and manufacturing manuals, and policy manuals, as well as the scope of certification authority.
  • Hold full ACA Authorizations.
  • Maintain the ability to uphold approved standards of Quality Control.
