Job Description

Benelux Tek Group Inc., a well-known multinational company in the aerospace industry with operations in the Canada is looking for the following position in Winnipeg, Manitoba & Newfoundland and Labrador or the surrounding areas.


Position: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Dash 8

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba and Newfoundland and Labrador


In this role, as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will help the company in Dash 8 Aircraft by performing maintenance, repairs, and modifications.


Responsibilities

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be expected to be able to demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency and perform the following functions:

  • Engage in basic troubleshooting on assigned tasks
  • Ability to provide solutions for defects while carrying out repairs
  • Display thorough working knowledge of aircraft systems on multiple aircraft including
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems;
  • Inform the quality assurance supervisor of irregularities on the work tasks of the maintenance
  • Install or modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems, such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, fuel systems and pneumatic systems
  • Air conditioning, hydraulics, engines, flight controls, landing gear, avionics, electrical generation, oxygen, fuel, pneumatics
  • Source appropriate calibrated tooling for the jobs


Documentation & Administration

  • Sources required technical information in maintenance manuals
  • Ensures appropriate documentation is completed accurately and on time and submitted to a Senior Technician or Shift Lead for ACA (Aircraft Certification Authority) approval


Certification & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an AME
  • Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as the International Correspondence School
  • Endorsement on Dash 8 aircraft is preferred
  • M2 or E license required
