Technical Director Canada Jobs

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in nonprofit management, major gift fundraising for a NGO, preferably a global human rights organization.

Strategic planning, change management and/ or project leadership experience. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Perform other management functions as required by Fòs Feminista-Canada Board Chair or Fòs Feminista’s CEO .

Ensure compliance with donor requirements, including timely and accurate programmatic and financial reporting.

Demonstrated experience in leading comprehensive organizational assessments that result in development and implementation of strategies that improve organizational performance 

5+ years of virtual care or group benefits sales management experience

Great people management and communication skills

Bachelor's degree in business management or any related field

Experience building and reporting on sales metrics, driving insights into actions based on data

Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Proficiency in technical publishing tools, such as document management systems content and desktop publishing software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French/English).

Experience in preparing budgets (internal and outsourcing).

Technical engineering, procurement, and/or construction experience and knowledge of power generation and/or other infrastructure projects would be highly desirable

Create and manage a healthy development pipeline of projects within the Canadian growth program

Manage environmental, legal, and technical subject matter experts, contractors, and consultants to maintain project timeline and budget

Maintain industry relationships and current knowledge of market drivers and industry trends to facilitate early-mover positioning as opportunities materialize

Strong financial acumen with knowledge of power generation or energy sector economic drivers

Understanding of technology options, limitations, and capabilities pertaining to energy generation

A minimum of 2-3 years project management experience with increasing responsibility

Experience working with a web Content Management Solution

Agile based project or product management experience

Project Management certification or pre-certification

Provide comprehensive and on-going risk management

Work with management to determine resource needs and availability; negotiate with management to resolve outstanding project-related issues

Implementing and manage of Alexion’s Global Compliance Program, including the Company’s anti-bribery/anti-corruption (“ABAC”) Compliance Program

Legal, compliance, R&D, or financial background with 5-7 years of compliance/pharmaceutical or adjacent industry experience.

Working with ED to provide strategic direction and compliance leadership

Drafting and implementing policies, procedures, SOPs, and relevant compliance guidance, as needed

Establishing compliance governance by co-managing and co-chairing the Canada Compliance Committee and support R&D related committees

Executing proactive compliance initiatives for Canada such as risk assessments, compliance workshops, training initiatives, and other compliance monitoring activities

15-20 years experience in transversal technical functions and/or operational functions (ex : operation manager, plant manager, technical manager…);

Experience in hazardous/industrial waste treatment, industrial wastewater treatment;

Experience in oil or solvent recovery is a strong asset;

Language skills for business in English and French ;

Thinking skills: decision making ability, seasoned judgment;

Skills in leadership, planning, coordination and labor relations;
