Performance monitoring and tuning: Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.

Experience with AWS Aurora and various reporting tools.

Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Install, configure, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL database servers.

Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and other database objects to support business processes.

Excellent time management and planning skills

Ensure key and/or repeated issues are brought to Management’s attention

Audit Individual Operations processes and report findings to management

Adaptable to changing priorities, requiring minimal management direction

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, high degree of written communication required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while making appropriate recommendations

Knowledge of Manhattan and WMS

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel

Excellent counting skills and detail focused

Ability to meet attendance requirements

Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime
