Mechanical Autocad Technician Jobs

Strong negotiation, communication, and management skills

AutoCAD certification preferred, outstanding AutoCAD knowledge required

Manage multiple projects from design stage to restaurant opening

Supervise general contractors and vendors, manage schedules, updates, and budgets

Asset to have commercial construction experience, particularly in restaurant tenant improvements

Travel frequently to store locations to oversee and manage

Supervising team of AutoCAD project managers and estimators.

Must have a minimum of 1 year experience managing a team of AutoCAD technicians.

Strong communication skills, written and spoken.

Working directly with sales, consultants and engineers, in every stage of design and production.

Ability to derive information from AutoCAD drawings, make notes and suggest corrections to the design team.

Communicating with various teams for customizable drawings.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment

1 - 2+ years’ experience in a mechanical field

Previous experience working in an ISO9000, AS9100 environment an asset

Experience with Lean manufacturing an asset

Community College Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical technology or equivalent experience

Assemble, repair, rework and/or troubleshoot complex opto-mechanical lens assemblies

· Completing reports and using the computer maintenance management system.

· Maintaining production equipment to prevent downtime due to equipment failure.

· Performing inspections and preventative maintenance.

· Analyzing mechanical problems and providing solutions for equipment breakdowns.

Competitive wages depending on experience

$135 LOA for remote workers (no camps)

Shift in and Shift Out Allowance for remote workers up to a maximum of $400 each way
