·Managing the events calendar, including posting events, and integrating with the WCC customer relationship management software.

POSITION: Manager PR & Events

This is a critical part of the WCC team and holds a multi-disciplinary list of responsibilities, including:

·Creating PR stories for social media execution with Marketing and Communication Manager

·Responsible for the creation of annual corporate sponsorship packages along with Engagement & Outreach Manager

·Developing, managing and being accountable for overall event budgets aligned with approved annual forecasts.

Prepare and manage budgets and invoicing on a monthly basis.

You have 5-7 years experience in journalism, or experience in Consumer or Tech PR.

Prepare for and staff interviews, ensuring our Leadership Team and writers can shine in every media encounter.

Provide operations oversight of reporting to showcase the value PR adds to our organization

Create compelling messaging and use your strong media relations skills to coach company spokespersons.

Manage day-to-day media relations and support the public relations team, who are the primary contacts for all global media.

5-7 years of dynamic experience in public relations and experience working for a global organization.

Ideally have experience working in support of global Sports Marketing organizations, professional athletes, or Olympics partnerships.

Experienced in building and executing successful PR strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong presentation skills.
