Knowledge of asset management software package

Minimum of 3 years' experience in plant maintenance and reliability

Good knowledge of engineering standards and procedures

NZQA Level 4 Engineering Trade Certificate (or similar)

Limited Electrical Licence EST Certificate (desirable)

An appreciation of LEAN manufacturing principles preferred

Good verbal and written communication skills

The position would be based in Calgary, Alberta

Conducting research and analysis of biomechanical effects of accidents and injuries

Analyzing injury risks associated with motor vehicle collisions and other accidents

Collaborating with engineers and scientists to verify information

Presentation of work to clients

Strong analytical, communication and quantitative skills

Prepare and execute client workshops

Interface with clients to discover their business challenges

Perform quantitative and observational data analyses

Create and present client recommendations

Experienced in complex project management

Experience conducting research, analysing findings, organizing and synthesizing complex information into well composed reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Indigenous people and their communities’ regional resources and services.

Extensive knowledge of education theories and practices, and methods of curriculum research, preparation and evaluation.

Knowledge in and experience with early years’ assessment instruments and inclusive design frameworks, as they relate to curricular development.

Experience and demonstrated skills in coordinating/facilitating meetings with multiple stakeholders and comfortable with using technology.

Develop Team Members communication, time management, meeting facilitation skills through coaching and mentoring

Develop Engineering team members management skills of programs, projects, budgets and integrators

Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent combination of education and applicable work related experience

Minimum 5 years experience in engineering within an automotive or related manufacturing industry

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Know and understand process documentation and customer specific requirements as they relate to this job function

What You Need To Know

Experience with succession planning and talent management

A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Human Resource Management, International Relations or a related discipline.

Comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices that guide effective HR management and development

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and guide a team towards a common goal

Strong negotiation skills, enabling the ability to effectively advocate for the needs of the HR team and the organization

Persuasion skills, allowing for the ability to effectively convince others to adopt a particular course of action or perspective.
