Casual Education Assistant Jobs

Provides appropriate monitoring, interventions and clinical management commensurate with accepted certification and scope of practice

Proficiency in airway management and manual ventilation with and without an established advanced airway

Provide respiratory therapy services for patients in PACU (i.e., Ventilator and Airway Management, Hi-flow oxygen therapy, specialty inhalation therapy)

You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills

Current BCLS, ACLS, NRP certification (PALS an asset)

Minimum 1 years’ experience in an Anesthesia Assistant role preferred

Prepare Research Ethics Board applications.

Assist with reviews of the literature.

Prepare study protocols and research standard operating procedures.

Assist in developing qualitative and quantitative data collection materials.

Prepare qualitative and quantitative data for analysis, coordinate, and contribute to analysis.

Support the preparation of funding requests to Government agencies and other funders.

Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Be prepared for a range of tasks and responsibilities assigned by your Program Manager, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment.

Gain valuable experience by leading lab sessions and helping students gain hands-on experience in the field.

Proven experience working with and instructing students is advantageous, with the ability to provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback.

Strategic thinker with experience using MS Office and social media platforms.

Professional and versatile written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with key stakeholders.

Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
