We are a custom hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing company with products exported globally. We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers’ needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customer’s specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil and gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.
We arelooking to hire a motivated and hard-working permanent full-time welder or apprentice in our Yorkton plant. We have an innovative and outstanding team of industry professionals who drive our ongoing success. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand the whole process from design to manufacturing and be able to work independently and with a team. Through experience, applicants should be able to identify the simplest path to quality and efficiency in all aspects of their work. The operator will also perform basic maintenance work to all the machines and other related duties.
Skills:
- Knowledge of computers.
- Good communication skills.
- Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices.
- Experience using power tools (ex. – die grinder, angle grinder, drill press, regular hand tools, etc.).
- Ability to read design drawings to conform to customer’s design and specifications.
- Previous work experience with ISO quality control environment and support the Quality Control objectives of the company.
- Efficient multi-tasking and time management in fast-paced production environment.
- Previous work experience driving forklifts would be an asset.
- Previous work experience with robotic assisted manufacturing.
- Ability to use measurement tools (ex. – inch size tape measure, caliper, micrometer, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in project planning to ensure timely completion of assignments.
Requirements:
- Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada.
- Preference to those who can demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly.
