Web Developer (WordPress Specialist) - Contract to Permanent Position

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Hybrid Position)

Contract Duration: 6 weeks with potential to become a permanent position.

Rate of Pay: $25 per hour

We are seeking a passionate Web Developer with a strong background in WordPress to join our team. This role will require occasional in-person meetings in our Edmonton office, but will primarily be a hybrid position, allowing for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites ensuring responsive design and optimal performance.

Customize themes and plugins to meet client requirements.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure the visual representation matches the client's vision.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with the latest web technologies and best practices in WordPress development.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in WordPress website development.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Familiarity with web standards and usability.

Knowledge of SEO tactics and best practices.

Knowledge of DNS

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
