Canadian Non-profit Organization established in 2013. Board of Directors, all volunteers are working to grow a global organization that began in 1991 as a grassroots movement.

The Virtues Project is a global grassroots initiative to inspire the practice of virtues in everyday life. The Project is sparking a global revolution of kindness, justice, and integrity in more than 100 countries through its facilitators and Virtues Connections.

The Virtues Project empowers individuals to live more authentic meaningful lives, families to raise children of compassion and integrity, educators to create safe, caring, and high performing learning communities, and leaders to encourage excellence and ethics in the work place. It has inspired and mobilized people worldwide to commit acts of service and generosity, to heal violence with virtues.

The Five Virtues Strategies of The Virtues Project awaken the gifts of character, through inspiring programs, books, and materials that help us to remember who we really are and to live by our highest values.

We are looking for passionate Volunteers who want to make a positive difference to humanity by providing their expertise and talents to build the IT team, retain the team, and implement strategic Projects for VPIA.

The applicant(s) need to show strategic thinking, leadership, reliability, commitment, cooperation, Communication excellence and diligence.

VPIA’s technology environment currently supports a website, product sales, donations, several social media sites, applications to support our training partners (we call them Facilitators), and Google Workspace for internal content, administration, and communications.

The environment is anchored in NeonCRM with interfaces to Squarespace and Constant Contact among others. Application development often requires integrations among these platforms and, in some cases, interfaces with external systems. Proficiency with Javascript, PHP, and JSON preferred.

Development needs are extensive. In addition to continuing to deliver specific results, there is a need for both a digital infrastructure design and a technology plan. The process of developing these will necessarily engage the Board of Directors to set priorities.

VPIA is seeking multiple volunteer Manager / Leaders including

• A technology leader who can develop needed infrastructure and development plans and lead Board consideration of options.
• An application designer with specialised expertise in both Squarespace and NeonCRM and in designing and implementing applications that also depend on interfaces between them.
• A technology manager to lead developers to deliver needed products.
