In this role the VBA Developer will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of applications that are used by internal teams at Purolator. Gaining a solid understanding of our business processes and end user requirements you will develop new tools and applications while maintain exisiting ones used by the Revenue Management teams. Providing top tier support across the entire application lifecycle is what we strive for.


Requirements


  • Provide end user support for various applications (including decoding of existing programs)
  • Contribute to help build new applications as business needs adapt
  • Understanding business processes and end user requirements
  • Collaborating with other teams, and share ideas
  • Developing, maintaining existing Revenue Management Tools, and improve business processes
  • Working with SQL databases, SQL, Access, VBA, Excel


Required Skills


  • MS Access, ADO Objects
  • VBA is a must
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • MS SQL, T-SQL


Soft Skills


  • Relationship development skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, judgement and problem solving skills
  • Work under fast-paced environment
  • Good Understanding of business processes and its data requirements
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently


Nice To Have


  • Any past experience in Courier Industry or Revenue Management would be an asset
  • Knowledge of SSIS packages
  • BODS
  • Working knowledge of SAP/Citrix Environment/Power BI
  • Experience in Database Design and software development
