Ui And Full Stack Developer - Hybrid

A front office quantitative development team in Citi is seeking a collaborative, hands-on UI Developer to work on a best-in-class data platform - building and distributing analytics to the Equity Derivatives Markets business. This is a rapidly growing and high-priority area, and the growth in users and use-cases has warranted the investment from the business to grow the team. The team will be focused on a new initiative to use a modern tech stack to develop interactive dashboards including capabilities for low-code and no-code visualization apps.

What will you be doing?

• Discussing and agreeing specifications with product owner, business analysts and/or end users
• Working within a global team in an agile environment, so strong communications skills are very important
• Producing SOLID code with excellent unit test coverage; Participating in code review process with other colleagues; Documenting designs and communicating them with the team(s)
• Analysing new requirements to find the most appropriate technical solution and contribute to overall application architecture and design
• Working closely with business (quants and traders) on multiple Equity Derivatives trading desks to design, develop, deploy and support new solutions

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years experience developing web-based UIs in React, JavaScript and HTML
• Experience building REST API services and deployment via tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift and AWS
• Basic knowledge of relational, no-SQL and object store databases
• Degree in a computer science, engineering, mathematical or other related discipline
• Previous experience and knowledge of Equity Derivatives and/or Delta 1 desirable
• Experience with automated testing like Cypress is a plus

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience in low-code Python tools like Plotly Dash, Streamlit etc
• Experience of Python to work with back-end services developed by data engineers and data scientists
• Takes care and pays attention to UX
• Experience in Business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI etc
• Hands-on experience in Typescript
