Carecor is offering Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses exciting travel nursing assignments in hospitals serving the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area. We’re ready when you are!

This opportunity offers contract options of up to 12 months. You choose what works for you!

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to the Nova Scotia College of Nursing, the Standards of Practice of Carecor and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12hour shift. Prior to joining the Nova Scotia team, we will provide you with information regarding travel allowance and Nova Scotia nursing license reimbursement.

• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
• Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last minute/early morning
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Transfer of active practicing license will be required with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider)
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
• Applicants require a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practicing license that is current, active and in good standing with your respective provincial College.

Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
