Job Description
Systems Integrator Intern, Metrotown, British Columbia


When you join our team as a Systems Integrator Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about the business world and assist our Systems Integrators (SI) with a variety of projects, while gaining experience with integrating a broad range of technologies to create cohesive, reliable, and easily deployable solutions for our global operations. The ideal candidate is looking for an eight-month term starting in September 2023.

  • Salaries starting from $3,850 per month based on year in school.


What You’ll Do


  • Monitor environment management activities and planning initiatives on projects, such as installation, setup, configuration, troubleshooting and deployment.
  • Create automated tests.
  • Create, setup and maintain environments following Interfor IT standards.
  • Assist with deployments and implementations on project environments.


What You Offer
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and appetite for learning.
  • Currently working towards or completed degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Security protocols
  • A general understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Network and transfer protocols
  • Web Services
  • Hardware and infrastructure models
  • Technical knowledge of the following:
  • Minimum of one year of experience or co-op term/internship in a technical role related to systems software or software products.
  • VMWare, Nutanix or virtual environments
  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Windows Server and Client Workstations
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and large volumes.
  • Batch scripting such as Powershell and related scripting languages
  • Build and automation tools
