The Rubic, a cutting-edge robotics company revolutionizing warehouse automation, is seeking an Intermediate Supply Chain and Sourcing Specialist. This is a full-time, 6-month contract role with the potential for extension.
:
The Intermediate Supply Chain and Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for managing our complex global supply chain, sourcing components, managing inventory, developing costing strategies, and strengthening supplier relationships. This role is pivotal to ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain operations and, ultimately, the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and nurture strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors worldwide.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for the production of internally designed components.
- Oversee the procurement of components from third-party suppliers.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies.
- Maintain detailed timelines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Manage inventory levels to balance cost and availability, optimizing stock turnover.
- Conduct cost analysis to drive cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Resolve any supply chain issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade and logistics regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of global supply chain processes, sourcing strategies, and international trade regulations.
- Proven experience with inventory management and cost analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and supply chain software.
