We are a small and growing distributed team seeking a talented and motivated Full-stack Developer to join us. As a Full-stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge gamification platform. Joining our team will provide you with exciting opportunities to make a significant impact and contribute to the already impressive usage growth of our gamification solution with Genesys customers.

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer who has expertise with Python back-end development and developing UI using front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular) . The ratio between backend/UI will vary based on your preferences and specific project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AWS services and technologies, including DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SQS, Step functions, etc. to build scalable and reliable backend systems
• Collaborate closely with designers/product managers
• Implement new features and enhance existing ones on both the front-end and backend
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Develop and maintain our gamification platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
• Leverage Vue.js or any TypeScript-based language for front-end development to create engaging user interfaces
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards

Requirements:

• Experience with Vue.js, Angular, React or any TypeScript-based language for front-end development
• Familiarity with AWS services and technologies
• Strong knowledge of Python for backend development
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
• Ability to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Full-stack Developer
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
