Our team tests all Products and Technologies across the Edge Technology Platform & Products Engineering group. We develop automation infrastructure for product testing and collaborate with the rest of the Engineering teams to qualify features. We are knowledgeable about all Delivery products and focus on feature integration testing replicating real world scenarios.

Ensure world class Delivery performance

You will be tasked with solving critical software automation and verification problems in a distributed systems environment. Working collaboratively with developers and other QA teams you will become an expert in system-wide automation infrastructure. You will ensure the exceptional performance of the products used to deliver the world's largest OTT events.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to test plans to ensure highly effective test coverage & automation
• Reviewing product & system design requirements to verify accuracy of test plans and test cases
• Improving testing methodologies and procedures to enhance test automation efficiency
• Creating and deploying automated system tests to replicate real world scenarios

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have exposure or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc
• Be comfortable using Linux and be proficient with its command line
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Have demonstrated experience in developing test automation in Ruby, Python or Bash and proficiency in system programming language, such as C++ or Rust
• Be able to work as a team, collaborate, and solve problems with others
• Be passionate about solving large scale distributed systems problems
