Birch Mountain Enterprises (BME) is looking for an experienced Foreman to start immediately. This is a permanent, full-time position based on our client's site, working a 7 on, 7 off schedule, with 11.5 hour days.

- Follow all Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Hours of Service, Pre-trip regulations.
- Plan, prepare and conduct daily toolbox talks with relevant topics.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Complete and submit reports as requested by Supervisors and Management.
- Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to paper or electronic logbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post trip inspections.
- Coordinate equipment to ensure the work is completed.
- Coordinate personnel scheduling to meet customer needs.
- Lead daily toolbox and attend safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.
- Assess field hazards and correct in a timely manner.
- Provide customer-focused services in all activities.
- Development of personnel scheduling.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company image
- Seek out continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure that all training is kept current for yourself and your team.
- Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Supervision and Management.
- Promoting a safe work environment through implementation and creation of safe work procedures with HSE team.
- Ensure all equipment is inspected and maintained for safe operation.
- Ensure employees comply with all aspects of the BME safety program.
- Must successfully pass BME pre-employment evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.
- Strong computer skills (i.e. outlook, excel, SharePoint, etc.).
- Above average troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous leadership experience an asset.
- Possess a valid driver’s license (minimum class 3) with clean abstract.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- OSSA (or BSO or CSO) and CSTS certification.
- Must have knowledge of towing light equipment, load securement and transportation legislation.
