Job Description

Senior Backend Engineer- Canadian AgriTech Firm (JavaScript, Node, MongoDB, API, AWS)(Fully Remote)


Company Background

TekRek has partnered with a growing AgriTech firm based in Canada. They currently have 50 staff and are grow their Canadian engineering team.


:

As the Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

  • Build and implement new features for existing systems
  • Participate in system design and specification, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and support
  • Maintain and update existing systems


Job Requirements:

  • Strong experience in working with JavaScript, Node.js, API
  • 7+ years experience in progressive software engineering positions with a focus on full stack / backend responsibilities
  • Strong experience in working on scalable web applications
  • Thorough understanding of backend-end technologies
