Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing of instrumentation and structural health monitoring systems, is looking to add a Senior Maintenance Technician to their maintenance team based out of their manufacturing facility in Maple Ridge, BC.
A Senior Maintenance Technician is a skilled professional responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of manufacturing equipment within the facility. They play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment by conducting inspections, performing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.

What you will be doing:
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of manufacturing machines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Respond promptly to facility issues and troubleshoot problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment for all.
  • Developing and managing a comprehensive maintenance plan for the facility, including corrective maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal operation and safety of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and service reports.
What you will need:
  • Can analyze data and use it to make informed decisions about maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Has a good understanding of the technical aspects of the equipment and machinery that they are responsible for. This includes knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to act and think independently.
  • A keen eye for detail and be able to spot potential problems before they become major issues.
  • Has strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
