Lastwall's head office is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada with offices in Vancouver, British Columbia and Honolulu, Hawaii, along with a remote staff across North America.

This position can be worked in-office (Fredericton), remotely (North America) or a hybrid model. Candidates must be willing and able to work in an Eastern time zone.

At Lastwall, we're revolutionizing the cybersecurity industry and seeking a skilled SeniorFull Stack Developer with a passion for cutting-edge technologies. As a senior level resource, you'll play a vital role in developing and maintaining our next-generation web applications.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Enhance the scalability and performance of our applications while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.
• Writing clean and maintainable code
• Embrace an agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
• Anticipating potential stack roadblocks and provide well thought out and researched solutions
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews and contribute to peer testing efforts.
• Establishing working frameworks in the design, back end, and front end of the product
• Completing well groomed tickets independently
• Utilize your knowledge of cyber security best practices, including familiarity with OWASP Top 10, to implement secure coding practices.
• Conducting research on relevant product and feature based solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Writing Jest unit tests with good test coverage
• Develop user-friendly web applications using TypeScript, React JS, Node.js, and Postgres.

What You’ve Done

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Developer.
• Postgres
• Extremely comfortable and proficient in:
• React JS
• Graphql / RestAPI
• TypeScript
• Experience with peer reviews and an understanding of testing methodologies
• Javascript
• Node.js
• Developing features with best coding practices
• Exposure and openness to Angular
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or commensurate experience.
