Senior Full Stack Developer

• Fraud Management Solutions, operating one of the largest service bureaus in Canada for Fraud Management Solutions, Everlink offers credit unions and banks industry-leading and custom-designed solutions enhancing the protection of their members and customers.
• Professional Services, leveraging our extensive industry knowledge, expertise and capabilities, Everlink’s Professional Services Team partners with our clients to navigate the ever-changing payments landscape, ensuring their technology capabilities remain relevant.
• Mobile Payments, fulfilling critical services delivery requirements, we remain at the forefront in the evolutions of NFC-based payments with extension to mobile wallets and other digital payment methods.
• ATM Managed Services, supporting the latest technology and introducing new innovations, Everlink powers ATM networks and transaction capabilities for credit unions, banks, and cardholders domestically and from abroad.
• Retail Solutions, enabling Card Present Point-of-Sale Acquiring, including Interac eCommerce via dedicated Host to Host Payment gateways for Payment Service Provides, FinTechs and Credit Union.

Challenge/Role

The Senior Full Stack Developer will work with a tight-knit team of passionate developers to build and maintain business-critical cloud platforms that power our services. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing and developing complex, highly reliable, scalable enterprise systems. They have a keen interest in application monitoring, security, and maintenance with a strong developer-focused mindset and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Opportunity

• Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.
• Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
• Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.
• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.

About You

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in development with React, Node and JS and micro front-end technologies
• 3+ years of experience with Java, REST API/Microservices, Spring framework, Spring Boot (2. x), JSON, MQ, Hibernate, SQL, Mongo
• 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications, architectures and frameworks (React and Java)
• Knowledge of enterprise-level security concepts and methodologies, including SSO, SSL, APIGEE, encryption, authentication, and entitlements

Nice to Have

• Experience working on cloud-native solutions and DevOps technology experience.
• Working knowledge of Digital Banking would be an asset.
• Experience acting as a development lead and technical specialist in a development team.
• Process knowledge, including different testing tools, design techniques and tools, risk assessment and quantification methodologies
