What does a Security Guard in Regina do?

• Conduct foot patrols of the exterior and interior of the building
• Greet customers and register visitors as needed
• Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers
• Protect the information, people and the property
• Answering incoming phone calls
• Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency
• Manage access as well as access cards through the computer system

Qualifications To Become a Security Guard In Regina

• A valid security guard license and first aid card
• Have a clear criminal background
• Good communication and computer skills
• Able to contact Police Services and the Operations center and report incidents of criminal activity
• Drug and Alcohol testing
• Be eligible to work in Canada
