Security Guard (F/T)

Security Guard (FT) VAUGHAN

Skanna Security is looking for a Full-Time Security Guard to work at our Vaughan site (Indoor / Outdoor work). Must have access to a vehicle.

Job Details

• Must be able to work Afternoons (2:30 PM to 10:30 PM) - Monday to Saturday.
• Full Time.
• Must be able to work outside and inside in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing reports and memo book entries on a regular basis.
• Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.
• Responding to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapment/intrusion alarms) Communicating regularly with patrons/clients.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to intervene quickly and manage stress.
• Above-average communication skills (written/oral).
• Honesty, autonomy, and very good judgment.
• Computer skills and ability to write a report.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Previous security experience (asset).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Security Guard license and first aid card (CPR level C).
• Team spirit and excellent customer service
• Sense of observation and responsibility.
