Salary: $45k-$80k depending on qualifications and experience.

: Pegasus Biotech is looking for highly driven and innovative individual to contribute to the development of cutting-edge vaccine technology. The individual will also support client research projects as required, duties include: - Contributing significant knowledge of molecular biology to the development of new vaccine technologies. - Designing and cloning novel DNA plasmids. - Plasmid sequence optimization to maximize yield and transfection. - Analytical and process development for both traditional and nucleic acid vaccines. - Project management. - Analyzing data to improve process performance and consistency. - Operating in a GLP facility following GxP regulations. - Operating in a BSL-2 facility. - Preparing scientific documents such as SOPs, validation protocols and reports. - Preparing/presenting project updates to clients. - Other duties as required.

Qualifications: - M.Sc./Ph.D. in a related area or B. Sc. with 5+ years experience. - Demonstrated experience innovating unique solutions to complex problems. - Hands on experience with molecular cloning. Experience with RNA purification and qRT-PCR assays would be considered an asset. - Experience in upstream processing including bacterial fermentation, cell culture or seed banking for vaccines/biotherapeutics at lab and pilot scale would be considered an asset. www.pegasusbio.com - Experience in downstream processing including liquid chromatography, tangential flow filtration and product formulation for vaccines/biotherapeutics at lab and pilot scales would be considered an asset. - Experience working with minimal supervision. - Detail-oriented and good organizational skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
