Safety Advisor - Seasonal

SUMMARY
Coordinate and conduct new employee safety orientations.
Conduct field inspections and audits to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to management.
Participate in site specific Joint Health & Safety meetings as required.
Assist in the development hazard assessments, fall protection plans, rescue plans, and job safety analyses.
Participate in the design and distribution of customer-specific safety information.
Assist with incident investigations and timely reporting of all incidents, near misses or significant hazards.
Participate in safety meetings with work crews as requested and promote open discussion of safety concerns and best practices.
Monitoring of safety training requirements for all employees.
· Provide guidance and support to employees regarding the safety program, policies, rules, and applicable regional acts, regulations, and codes of practice.
