Residential Designer Jobs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Permit drawings (IFP).
• Revision and new design of “Tamarack Signature” homes.
• Working drawings (IFC).
• Detail drawings.
• Revit modelling and 2D AutoCad drawing.
• Schedules (windows, interior finishes, paint, etc).
• Township interface ensuring feasibility and compliance.
• Site planning drawings.
• Conceptualdesign development.
• Client-approved pricing drawings.

• Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is required.
• Thorough understanding of best practices in light wood framed construction is required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Solid knowledge of3d Modelling and 2d drafting inAutoCad and Revit is required.
• Rendering with Lumion and/or Enscape is an asset
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• BCIN certifications relevant to residential construction are an asset
• Would be an asset.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of anArchitecturalor Civil Engineering Technology or Technicianprogram.
• 3-5+ Years working in residential design.
• AdditionalDigital Design and Rendering program experience such as Sketch Up or Photoshop
• (Small buildings, House, Plumbing, Septic).
