Job Description
Position Summary


Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.


Reporting to the Clinical Co-ordinator, Surgical Services (OR, PARR, Ambulatory Care), and in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures provides and co-ordinates nursing care to assigned patients consistent with current standards of nursing practice and the clinical specialty of operating room/post-anesthetic/ambulatory care nursing. Nursing responsibilities may include scheduled on-call responsibilities for emergency surgery and PARR/Ambulatory Care. The role and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with standards, protocols, and Hospital/department expectations and the goals for professional nursing practice.


Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:15 to 15:15, 07:45 to 15:45, 08:45 to 16:45, 09:30 to 17:30, 10:00 to 18:00 (Rotating)


Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is the largest hospital in northwest BC with 27 acute care beds. They offer emergency services, ultrasound, CT scans, surgery, extended care, pediatrics, radiology, and obstetrics. Additional services such as diabetes education, health heart and rehabilitation, podiatry, orthopedics and other visiting specialists.

Qualfications


  • Appropriate Operating Room training.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
